For Individuals: Monetize Your Skills, Stay in Control

1. Create Your Personal Skills Profile (PSP)

• Use our powerful in-built Skills Profiler to build your profile.
• The profiler draws from a vast and structured database of skills across industries and functions, including:
• Knowledge areas
• Tools & technologies
• Domains, roles, and tasks
• Certifications
• Soft skills
• Skills are organized by Function / Industry → Focus Areas → Specializations → Skill Categories → Skills.
• The UI allows you to search, navigate, select, and rate your proficiency on each skill.

2. Add Your Personal Background Profile (PBP)

• Include information such as education, work experience, accomplishments, and more.
• You maintain control of visibility — the PBP is never shown by default.

3. Set Your Value Preferences

Each individual sets:

• Value of Skills Profile (VSP): Your desired hourly rate (even if you’re looking for a salaried role, this is calculated as per-hour to normalize across roles).
• PBP View Fee: The amount you want to be paid for giving access to your background profile.
• Contact Fee: The amount you want to be paid to reveal your contact information.

These values are fully under your control and can be adjusted at any time.

4. Stay Anonymous, Stay Discoverable

• Your profile is published anonymously — no name or personal details.
• Recruiters and hiring managers can search Skills Profiles using advanced filters.

5. Earn When You Respond

• Recruiters can request to view your PBP or contact you.
• You earn your PBP View Fee and Contact Fee only if you respond (positively or negatively).
• If you do not respond, no money is paid out.

6. Respond with Choice

• When a hiring manager sends a request:
• View the Job Profile they’ve shared.
• Choose to share your PBP, or reject the request.
• For contact requests, you can allow or deny access to your contact details.

7. Receive Payments Securely

• Payments are processed via Stripe.
• You receive 80% of the fee on every accepted (or rejected) request.
• Payments are made directly to your bank account through Stripe Connect.

For Hiring Managers & Recruiters: Discover Real Skills, Pay Only for Engagement

1. Search the Skills Marketplace

• Browse anonymized skills profiles using advanced filters:
• VSP Range
• PBP and Contact Fees
• Skill match score
• Work mode (WFH, WFO, Hybrid)
• Employment type (Full-time / Part-time)
• Location preference

2. Shortlist the Profiles You Like

• Compare profiles side by side.
• Evaluate skill ratings and match scores to shortlist your preferred candidates.

3. Request PBP Access

• Pay the PBP View Fee set by the individual.
• This amount is held in escrow — only released if the individual responds.
• If there’s no response, your money is not deducted and remains in your MySkillsPlus Wallet.

4. Review the Background Profile

• If the individual accepts the request, you’ll get access to their detailed PBP.
• If they decline, you are notified, and the transaction is closed respectfully.

5. Request to Contact

• After reviewing PBPs, choose to send a contact request.
• Pay the individual’s Contact Fee.
• If they respond, contact details are released and payment is made.
• If not, your wallet remains unaffected.

6. Track All Interactions in Your Dashboard

• Monitor:
• Requests sent
• Status of responses
• Payments made and retained

7. Platform Transparency

• MySkillsPlus does not intervene or take responsibility for the engagement post-contact.
• All actions are logged. All payouts are contingent on real user response.

Wallet & Payment System (Powered by Stripe)

For Recruiters:

• Add funds to your MySkillsPlus Wallet via Stripe.
• Use funds to:
• Pay for PBP View Requests
• Pay for Contact Requests
• If no response is received, the amount stays in your wallet.
• Withdraw any unused balance at any time.

For Individuals:

• Payments for every response are made to your Stripe Connect account.
• You receive 80% of the PBP View Fee and Contact Fee.
• Withdraw anytime as per Stripe payout schedules.
